are few spots which you’ll want to practice because of the

parallel 6ths, which can be a little tricky. A great show piece,
this is at the intermediate level, for all harps, lever changes
marked.

has been arranged by Louise for pedal harp. RH is always active
playing the melody in single notes with pedal slides. E minor
introduction, A minor and then C major are the keys. The
introduction is Malaguena-ish. LH is not difficult, but up to
tempo and combined with the tricky RH makes this piece at least
intermediate. 4 pages – nicely notated.

This pedal or
lever harp piece is a beautiful tune arranged as a simple duet,
or simple-intermediate solo. The piece is two pages long,
includes no accidentals, and is in C major. The stately theme is
embellished with lush chords in the right hand, and a strict
rhythm carried throughout the ending. The piece comes with a
brief history of The Yellow Rose, and is great for children to
learn along with Texas history.

Described as a
"glissando waltz", this is a wonderful, showy piece of
music for the lever harp that is great as a solo or as a harp
duet. The easy Harp II accompaniment is simple enough for
beginners and is without the challenge of a glissando. The lever
harp solo with the glissandos is sharp and snappy.

1894 Opera House Waltz $6.00
Louise
was inspired to write this lovely tune by the Grand 1894 Opera
House in Galveston, Texas. The 1998 ISFHC conference held most of
its major concerts there. Key of C, left hand crossovers, and
glisses to depict visions of fashionable couples dancing at grand
balls during the turn of the century. There is a Solo version,
Harp II accompaniment part, a flute melody part, and an
arrangement for lap harp solo.
